Imagistic successfully launched a new Training Management System for the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation's Peer and Family Support Program. Imagistic was asked to assess the existing training management process and to build software to increase efficiency, decrease errors and cut costs. Extending the existing internal application, Imagistic developed an intuitive and powerful system to manage and report on all training activities managed by the organization.
"The Reeve Foundation asked us to create a set of interfaces and workflows to track and manage the Peer Mentor training and approval processes, " explained Kevin Howard Goldberg, Imagistic's President. "Part of the fun of the project was reverse engineering an existing 3rd party system (the Mentor Management System), documenting it, and then working with the PFSP staff to make it a better-tuned system for how the organization naturally managed its programs."
Imagistic has been working with the Reeve Foundation since 2006 to develop, extend and improve internal operations and systems. The Training Management system was built as an extension to the existing custom application built using the CodeIgniter framework on a LAMP stack server.
